Magellan provides evaluation services for children who have been referred for inpatient psychiatric residential treatment, and care coordination services for children who reside in inpatient psychiatric programs or out-of-state residential facilities.
Magellan manages Louisiana’s Coordinated System of Care, providing intensive care management and family-driven, youth-guided services to children and youth from birth through age 21 who have complex behavioral or emotional needs and are currently placed or at risk of being placed out-of-home.
Magellan manages behavioral health services for HealthChoices members in Bucks, Cambria, Delaware, Lehigh, Montgomery and Northampton counties and has been coordinating care for their behavioral health needs for more than 22 years.
Magellan has served as the Behavioral Health Services Administrator for the Virginia Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS) since 2013. We administer behavioral health services for members enrolled in Virginia’s Medicaid and FAMIS programs, as well as the behavioral health services not covered through DMAS’ managed care programs.
In partnership with the Wyoming Department of Health, we coordinate care and service delivery for children and youth who have complex behavioral health conditions. Through the High-Fidelity Wraparound model, we support the success of families in their homes, schools and the community.
